Actress Michelle Yeoh, who has had a long and successful career in a foreign films, is receiving Oscar buzz for her performance in March 2016 release Everything Everywhere All at Once. She won the 2023 Golden Globe for best actress last week thanks to her flawless on-screen persona and her use of martial arts in the movie.

The actress, 60, is currently in the news once more as a result of the virality of a 1997 picture in which she can be seen hanging from a helicopter above Los Angeles' famous Hollywood sign.

On January 11, a popular Twitter account that goes by the name NOSTALGIA (@notgwendalupe) posted Yeoh’s photos and wrote, “Michelle Yeoh doing a photoshoot in front of the Hollywood sign while hanging from a helicopter (1997)”. This tweet has so far gathered over 1.3 lakh likes.

Daniel Kwan, a co-director of Everything Everywhere All at Once with Daniel Scheinert, commented on it and sarcastically said, "This is literally the only way Michelle travels. When we attempted to get her an Uber, she refused and just started floating away.

The cover image was taken for a feature on "The Globalization of Culture," according to American photographer Joe McNally, who took these pictures for National Geographic 25 years ago.

This narrative investigated cross-cultural interactions in a variety of fields, including television, fashion, and food.
